CCNSG Courses Client Contractor National Safety Group Site Safety Passports

The Client Contractor National Safety Group (CCNSG) is an industry led initiative administered by the ECITB, through the CCNSG, of which Providence Training (Safety Train) was the first training provider in the UK to run the course in 1993.

The construction industry employs an estimated 5% of the UK’s workforce, and accounts for an estimated 25% of all fatal workplace accidents.

The programme was developed initially by Client’s Safety Advisors, in liaison with training providers, to identify an auditable training programme designed to raise the awareness of employees in the industry on working safely.  The programme is delivered by specialist Health & Safety Trainers with industry experience, and who are trained to support delegates with a wide range of abilities & literacy problems.

Clients requiring this Passport include BP Amoco, Corus, Dow Corning, Elf, Esso, ICI, Lindsey Oil, National Power, Powergen, Shell, ChevronTexaco.
